About The Ramey Agency

The Ramey Agency is based in Northport, AL and was founded by Redding E. Ramey, a Tuscaloosa native. Prior to founding The Ramey Agency, Redding worked as a Business Consultant for Arthur Andersen in Atlanta, GA. While at Arthur Andersen Redding witnessed the demise of Enron and Arthur Andersen, and watched many innocent people lose their jobs and savings. It was this experience along with, how people were being impacted by the massive layoffs of the 2001 recession that caused Redding to reevaluate his aim in life. Redding decided he wanted to make a contribution to society and to in some capacity protect people. Selling Insurance is how Redding feels he can give back, because he can specialize in offering “consulting” services to individuals and families, rather than large companies, and to afford these individuals and families the protection and security that they deserve.
